The past year brought unprecedented growth for Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo and exciting new opportunities for customers: 

We launched our first international long-haul service for our Seattle hub, with new popular routes to Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Seoul Incheon (ICN).

Our flights carried 18.7 million pounds more cargo in 2025 — and we have about 270 more flights every week throughout our network.

Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines received a single operating certificate (SOC) from the FAA, allowing us to combine cargo operations and create a more unified experience for customers. 

We also experienced some challenges and we deeply appreciate your understanding through any growing pains. As we grow, we are committed to delivering the dependable service you count on. 2025 highlights: Your cargo connection to the world

ACCOMPLISHED IN 2025:

• New international routes: Seattle to Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Seoul Incheon (ICN). 
• More flights between Honolulu (HNL) and Tokyo Haneda (HND), increasing the frequency to 14 times per week. 

ON THE HORIZON IN 2026:

• More SEA-NRT capacity, with 787 aircraft added to the popular route starting in January.  
• Nonstop service from Seattle to London (LHR) and Rome (FCO), starting next spring.

Expanding network: Best in the West – and beyond

More options for Hawai’i in 2025:  

• We optimized our flights so we now serve more routes between California and Hawai’i than any other domestic airline.

EXPANDED capacity for San Diego (SAN): 

• We added nonstop flights between San Diego and Washington D.C. (DCA), Chicago (ORD), Denver (DEN) and Phoenix (PHX), giving us more destinations from SAN than any passenger airline.

ON THE HORIZON IN 2026:

• GoldStreak next-flight-out premium service will come to Hawai’i — an ideal shipping option for lab samples, medical supplies and time-sensitive documents. 
• By summer, we will offer nonstop service every day between San Francisco (SFO) and all four Hawaiian Islands. 
• In Southern California, we will add nonstop flights between San Diego and Oakland (OAK), Dallas (DFW) and Raleigh-Durham (RDU) — giving us 35% more flights next spring. And new interline and trucking partners will add capacity for Los Angeles (LAX). 

A combined operation: Aligned teams, better processes

What we accomplished in 2025:

• STATIONS: We co-located our Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo teams in Seattle, New York (JFK), Lihu’e, Maui, Kona, Honolulu and Portland, creating a single drop-off point for customers shipping on our global network. 
• RESOURCES: We aligned our policies across Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines aircraft and created a one-stop resource on our website for all your shipping questions.

Coming in 2026: 

• In January, we will launch a single cargo system, allowing customers to ship seamlessly throughout our network. The booking window opened Wednesday, December 10. Sign up for our emails to stay updated on this exciting change.

Always constant: Our commitment to caring service

TOYS FOR TOTS: This holiday season our Alaska Air Cargo teams carried more than 11,000 pounds of toys to nine airports across the state of Alaska — our 15th year of partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to deliver Christmas joy to children in remote communities across the state. 

SEASHARE: We are proud to work with SeaShare, one of many customers who provide caring services to communities throughout our network. The nonprofit SeaShare often relies on our cargo services to get donated fish to food banks in remote Alaska towns. Learn more
